Question of India's food?

My roommate has a bit of food they gave me is peanuts, and what look like small pieces fried of flour or something. Still, she insists that her right, but I'm on a diet and peanuts and fried things sound really questionable. Any idea what is or what is nutritional information? Thanks so much!
